Q: Can I make a down payment or pay for my roof with my credit card?

A: Yes! You can pay for your roof with your VISA or MasterCard by coming into our showroom in Sumner. We can even process credit card payments of $2,000 or less over the phone!

Q: Can someone just give me a ‘ball park’ estimate on what a new roof would cost without coming out to my house?

A: There are many items that come into play when estimating the cost of a roof installation:  

• the pitch of the roof
• how cut up the roof line is
• the number of skylights
• whether venting needs to be addressed
• if plywood needs to be replaced
• driveway availability
• power lines inhibiting delivery trucks
• city permitting/inspection requirements

We are happy to send someone out to evaluate these things, take the measurements, and come back to the office to prepare an informed estimate with current pricing of the specific products you are considering. And there is no charge for that!

Q: How often should I clean my roof?

A: Depending on the type of roof you have, you may need to clean it. Our main recommendation is that you should NEVER use a pressure washer on your roof. This will destroy the integrity of your roof faster than anything else you can do to the roof.

Q: I had the zinc strip added to my roof, why do I still have moss?

A: While some people have had great success with keeping moss at bay with the zinc strip on their roof, it is not a guaranteed method of moss deterent.

Q: Can you just install the new roof over my old roof?

A: In order to provide you with the warranty protection backed by the manufacturer, we must be sure that the roof decking is sound. The only way to determine that accurately is to remove the old roof. Just because you haven’t had a leak so far, does not mean the old roof is sound.
